At Alaska Housing, our mission is to provide Alaskans access to safe, quality, affordable housing. One of the ways that we deliver on this mission is by partnering with landlords to help families find and maintain safe housing through renting.
To thank current and new landlords participating in AHFC’s tenant-based voucher programs, AHFC will use federal funds to issue landlords $1,000 for every new long term lease (12 months or more) or any long term lease renewal (12 months or more).
The lease or renewal must have an effective date of January 1, 2024 or later to qualify.
All of AHFC’s tenant-based voucher programs qualify for this program. AHFC’s project-based and sponsor-based rental assistance programs do not qualify for this program.
