All user content, including text, photography, video or other graphics, generated on AHFC’s pages shall:

  • Comply with all policies set forth by the social media platform being used;
  • Respect copyright and fair use laws;
  • Not cite or reference customers or suppliers without their approval;
  • Adhere to applicable privacy laws/standards for public housing and other AHFC clients;
  • Contain a legal disclaimer (if applicable);
  • Not use vulgar, offensive, threatening, harassing or hateful language;
  • Not post about concerns, problems or conflicts with individuals or organizations;
  • Not engage in political or religious advocacy or commentary or support or oppose any ballot issue or candidate for office;
  • Not promote or advertise any businesses or commercial enterprises, unless they are providing support to AHFC services;
  • Not contain obscene comments or imagery;
  • Not contain comments or imagery unrelated to the topic of the forum; and
  • Not contain commercial promotions or spam.

User content that does not adhere to this policy may be removed without additional notice. AHFC will immediately delete posts that in any way put down or discriminate against specific persons. Any concerns, problems or conflicts should be sent privately to our direct message inbox.

AHFC reserves the right to ban users who repeatedly violate this policy from publicly posting on its social media sites.

All content sent to AHFC on social media, whether publicly posted or privately messaged, are subject to disclosure in the public record.
