How Landlords Can Participate in the Housing Choice Voucher Program

Housing Choice Vouchers offer an opportunity for landlords to receive convenient rent payments while providing Alaskans with safe, quality, affordable housing. 

Landlords receive a monthly rental subsidy paid directly by AHFC and the tenant pays their portion of the rent directly to the landlord. Landlords participating in the Housing Choice Voucher program use their own screening criteria to select tenants and then enter into a Housing Assistance Payment contract with AHFC.
