Voucher Program Responsibilities
To be successful, the Housing Choice Voucher program relies on relationships between:
- The tenant and the landlord
- The tenant and AHFC
- The landlord and AHFC

List Your Rental Property
- Alaska Housing Locator is a service provided by AHFC.
- Create an account or log in to manage your property listings.
RENTCafé
Alaska Housing is now offering RENTCafé, a new and convenient way to keep track of housing information online. With a free account, landlords participating in AHFC’s Housing Choice Voucher program can access inspection records, view rent change letters and contact information, as well as upload documents.
Landlords can access RENTCafé and then click in the upper right corner for the landlord login.
Security Deposit Assistance
AHFC offers security deposit assistance for the families participating in the Housing Choice Voucher and Special Purpose Voucher programs. Each family is eligible for this one-time assistance and deposits are refundable directly to the family upon move out.

This toolkit includes both AHFC-specific and outside resources that may be useful for landlords managing properties in the private sector market.
