Finding out what loan amount you qualify for before you start looking at homes is key. Loan prequalification is a service that our lenders provide to help you make an informed decision on how much you can afford.

Once the lender has completed the process of prequalifying you, you will be given a letter that states the loan amount for which you have been qualified for. The prequalification is based on current rates and fees in effect at the time. Keep in mind that you will not receive a commitment from the lender to make the loan at a specific interest rate until you make a formal application for a loan to purchase a particular piece of property.
