Anchorage Receives Housing Vouchers for Individuals Coming Out of Prison

More than 470 Alaskans have benefited from an Alaska Housing Finance Corporation program designed to assist survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault secure housing. It has been more than 15 years since AHFC undertook a development of significant size so we are really excited. Five communities statewide are beneficiaries and the projects will develop or upgrade a total of 179 rental units for low-income and senior Alaskans, and will generate more than $48 million in direct economic impact to Alaskas economy.
