Need help providing holiday gifts?

This year has brought unprecedented times for many Alaskan families. Due to COVID-19, unemployment rates are expected to be at 10-11%, according to The Salvation Army. There is help during this holiday season. Are you in need of holiday gift assistance for children ages 0 - 14 years old?
Last year, The Salvation Army, with the help of numerous generous sponsors, provided holiday gifts for more than 3,000 families in the Anchorage area.
When: Register today for the GIFT Program. Registration is open from November 2-13, 2020 or Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Where: Register at The Salvation Army Anchorage Corps, 1701 C Street, Anchorage, AK.
Please bring an ID for anyone in your household who is 18 years or older.
Please Bring:
- A photo ID for anyone 18 years or older in the household
- Documentation of children in your household (Ex. birth certificate, PFD Application, OCS letter, public assistance or school print out/electronic copy showing a child and parent guardian's name)
- Proof of address (Utility bill or mail with name and address).
