Highlights from Energy Efficiency NOW Training 2024

In February 2024, Alaska Housing's Research and Rural Development department held a training for building and real estate professionals from across the state, to advance energy efficiency knowledge in Alaska.

Energy Efficiency NOW Training 2024 brought in experts from in and out of Alaska to cover topics ranging from high performing homes and solar to building and energy codes, indoor air quality and more.

Architects, engineers, real estate professionals, appraisers, builders, energy raters, weatherization pros, building owners, building managers and building maintenance were all invited to participate, with continuing education credits available for many of the training sessions.

The Research and Rural Development department is excited to build upon the success of this year's training with Energy Efficiency NOW 2025, which is already being planned.
