Are you an Alaskan renter struggling to pay rent or utilities? The application period is now open for Alaska Housing Rent Relief. This NEW rent relief program provides up to 12 months of rent and/or utility relief and is open to all eligible Alaskans.

How It Works

The first step is to check your eligibility. You can do this in less than 5 minutes by using our eligibility checker. If you qualify, a relief specialist will work with you every step of the way to verify your information and to ensure that you get the relief you are qualified for. Payments for rent and/or utilities will be made directly to landlords and utility companies.

There is a maximum household income level which varies, depending on where you live. Use our eligibility checker to find yours. If you qualify and meet the other eligibility requirements, you be will invited to apply for Alaska Housing Rent Relief. Many Alaskans think they probably make too much money to qualify. But it's over $77k a year and over $6K a month in Anchorage, for example, so be sure to check!
