Alaska Economic Trends: 2024 Rental Survey

In September 2024, the Alaska Economic Trends Magazine published by the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development included findings from a survey of the state's rental market. While the yearly rent increase varied by area, the average increase survey-wide was about 5 percent. Survey data also showed that vacancy rates had increased slightly in most surveyed communities.
