Prepare For Your Interview
Interviews are two-way conversations and an opportunity for you to learn about AHFC, and for AHFC to learn about you. Here are some tips to help you prepare!
Get to Know AHFC
The best preparation is getting to know us better so you have the ability to demonstrate how your skills and experience can help grow and contribute to our efforts.
- Like AHFC on Facebook and follow us on LinkedIn to learn about current projects, activities and where our team members are impacting communities throughout the state.
- Sign-up for our community newsletter for the latest AHFC news and views.
- Check out our blogs, which contain a variety of helpful information about local, statewide and national housing trends, as well as details about key AHFC programs and projects.
- Explore ahfc.us to learn about our history and department responsibilities.
Highlight Your Achievements & Be Curious
As you think back over your work history, consider the contributions and achievements for which you are most proud. Come prepared to draw on these stories to answer questions about your experience during the interview. Providing specific examples that showcase your experience is key.
Be curious! Asking questions that demonstrate you’ve done your homework is a great way to make a good impression.
