Strength in Community

When Typhoon Halong hit Western Alaska, many stepped up to support evacuees moving into new communities. In Bethel, people rallied to support their new neighbors. 

"The community really came together," said Serene, an AHFC employee in the public housing department. "Everyone was trying to make sure that evacuees had a warm place to stay."
