AHFC is committed to connecting Alaskans with credible organizations working to assist families displaced by Typhoon Halong. We are communicating with relief agencies across the state and will share information and resources as they become available.
For Disaster Survivors
Find Immediate Shelter
The American Red Cross of Alaska has mobilized to provide emergency shelter. Follow their Facebook page for the most recent updates or call 1-800-RED-CROSS for assistance.
Register for Assistance
Disaster survivors in the designated disaster area can register for the State of Alaska Individual Assistance Program. Call 1-844-445-7131 or visit https://ready.alaska.gov/ia.
How To Help
Make A Financial Donation
Alaska Community Foundation has partnered with organizations to help residents affected by Typhoon Halong. Donate to the Western Alaska Disaster Relief 2025 Fund.
Purchase Items for Donation Online
The Association of Village Council Presidents has posted an Amazon wishlist for items that will be distributed to villages. Purchase new items directly to support impacted regions.
Drop-Off Needed Supplies
GCI is accepting drop-off donations at its retail locations through October 27th. Donated items will be flown to to the impacted area through a partnership with Alaska Air Cargo, Everts Air Cargo, Grant Aviation, Lynden Air Cargo, Northern Air Cargo and Ryan Air. Find designated collection sites and needed items.
