Appropriate Use of AHFC Media

AHFC employees have access to a collection of high quality and carefully vetted media that can be used in a variety of ways, such as presentations, advertisements, employee training, and more. Please go to the GRPA section of the Intranet for a direct link to the AHFC Media Library. 

Appropriate Use Guidelines

  • Media may only be used to promote AHFC and its mission.
  • Media may only be used for AHFC publications and websites. For example, in slideshows, presentations, promotions, and articles.
  • Photographs must never be changed from the original aside from standard cropping. For example, no filters, color alteration, or image flipping (e.g. an image with a building on the west side of the street appears to be on the east side of the street).
  • Media use must take into consideration subject matter and accurate representation. For example, if using media of a person to represent a specific department or program, that person should be from that department or program.
  • Media use must be mindful of diversity and cultural context. For more information about media use and inclusive representation, please contact GRPA.
  • By using media from the AHFC Media Library, the end user assumes all liability and releases and holds harmless AHFC, GRPA, and its staff.
  • GRPA holds the right to remove, update, or change the AHFC Media Library and its contents at any time.
  • GRPA reserves the right to hold media from the AHFC Media Library.

Requests From Third Parties

Please do not share media directly with news outlets, partners, or other third parties. All requests for media from third-party organizations should be directed to Kalinda Kindle, GRPA multimedia communications specialist, at kkindle@ahfc.us, (907) 330-8457.
