AHFC is committed to connecting Alaskans with credible organizations working to assist families displaced by Typhoon Halong. We are communicating with relief agencies across the state and will share information and resources as they become available.
For Disaster Survivors
Find Immediate Shelter
The American Red Cross of Alaska has mobilized to provide emergency shelter. Follow their Facebook page for the most recent updates or call 1-800-RED-CROSS for assistance.
Register for Assistance
The State of Alaska Individual Assistance Program is designed to provide financial assistance to individuals or families for damage to a primary residence, primary mode of transportation, essential personal property, and medical/funeral/dental needs created as a direct result of a declared disaster.
Disaster survivors in the designated disaster area can register for the program by calling 1-844-445-7131 or visit https://ready.alaska.gov/ia.
Get Access To Donated Items
Families impacted by the recent storms in Western Alaska are invited to the Alaska Airlines Center and Egan Center daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. to access donated items, food, and essential supplies. Families staying at the shelters and people staying outside of the shelters are welcome. (Source: Southcentral Foundation)

Make A Financial Donation
Alaska Community Foundation has partnered with organizations to help residents affected by Typhoon Halong. Donate to the Western Alaska Disaster Relief 2025 Fund.
Purchase Items for Donation Online
The Association of Village Council Presidents has posted an Amazon wishlist for items that will be distributed to villages. Purchase new items directly to support impacted regions.
Donate Needed Items
New clothing, hygiene items, diapers, shoes, and more are accepted at the central warehouse at 1120 East 1st Avenue, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., 7 days a week. (Source: Southcentral Foundation)
