Emergency Housing Vouchers

In partnership with the Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness (ACEH) and Alaska Coalition on Housing and Homelessness (AKCH2), these vouchers are targeted to homeless individuals and families and persons/families fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking or human trafficking. Eligible persons must be referred through a local coordinated entry team. Please view the information below for ACEH and AKCH2 to apply.

Emergency Housing Voucher referrals are made through local Coordinated Entry Systems (CES). Given the limited number of vouchers, referrals are prioritized based on length of time homeless and individuals meeting the federal chronically homeless definition. Local CES teams also refer individuals to other state and federal housing programs.

Contact a housing and homeless service agency in your community to learn about what services you may qualify to receive. Below are a list of agencies and organizations located in rural hubs that may be able to assist you.
