AHFC is asking Lenders to provide a copy of the recorded Deed of Trust in the purchase package.
This change is being made to help correct errors earlier in the process. During Quality Reviews, we have seen an increase in the number of Deed of Trusts needing correction (e.g. property addresses, legal descriptions, and program riders). Having a copy of the Deed of Trust earlier in the process will help us and our lending partners fix these issues in a timely manner.
Loan Purchase / Delivery
The Deed of Trust and Riders have been added to the list of items needed in the purchase package.
