Betty Hall

Betty Hall will gladly find books or other materials that fit your need.

Betty Hall’s title is energy information specialist but it could be “librarian”.

Hall is the sole staff to AHFC’s Research Information Center, RIC for short. If you need information connected to building science, she and RIC are invaluable.

If you’re not sure where to start, Hall will gladly find books or other materials that fit your need. RIC has an assortment of information for the do-it-yourselfer, technical books, building codes, statutes, various studies, information about the environment, small house plans, healthy homes and more.

RIC is open to the public and is located at AHFC headquarters, 4300 Boniface Parkway, in Anchorage. It’s open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday but closed on holidays.

It is available by walk-in or appointment. Materials may be checked out for three weeks. If you need them longer, call hall at 907-330-8166 or 800-478-4636, and you can keep them for an additional three weeks.

Access the library’s catalog of materials by going to www.ahfc.us and clicking on “library” at the top of the page. On the RIC page, there are instructions on how to look up books by title, subject or author.
