Alaska Housing Finance Corporation has completed its initial analysis of Alaska Housing Homeowner Assistance applications, determining that all eligible applicants will receive some form of aid as part of the congressionally funded program.
Alaska Housing joined other community partners to help break ground on the Providence Alaska House in Anchorage.
Designed to reduce mortgage delinquencies, forbearances and foreclosures, federally funded Alaska Housing Homeowner Assistance has entered the application review stage. Once complete, distribution of funds will begin to assist Alaskan homeowners.

Alaska homeowners facing pandemic-related financial hardships such as mortgage delinquencies are encouraged to apply immediately. The online application process is easy to navigate and mobile-friendly — currently, roughly 71% of applications have been submitted by a mobile device. The deadline to apply is Monday, April 4, 2022, 11:59 p.m. AKDT, at AlaskaHousingRelief.org.
